The lynx was pacing back and forth inside his enclosure. This doesn’t happen usually with the wild cats, but it seems like the enclosures are the reason for this.

The most common reason big cats, like tigers, lions, panthers, etc. tend to pace back and forth when they are in their enclosure because they are stressed.

But the mysterious question is why would a tiny calico kitty enter into the lynx enclosure. Some people speculated that the lynx would attack the cat. But cats are known to bring down stress levels in humans as well as other animals. So maybe instead of eating the cat, the lynx decided to become friends with the cat.

The lynx approached the cat and started licking him. There are other things that are more important than hunger also at times. The lynx valued friendship more than his hunger and this is how he found himself a pawsome friend.
