A Cat’s Purr Are Good For You, Shows Fascinating Infographic

Many people find the sound of a cat purring very soothing. Is that the case with you as well? According to several people, this soothing feeling is often associated with the wellbeing and contentment of a cat. However, there is more to it.

It is scientifically proven that purring can be beneficial to both the cat and his hooman. This all has got to do with frequency. The frequency of a cat’s purr is the same as the range used in vibrational therapies for tissue regeneration.

Vibrational therapy helps to strengthen muscles and bones by adding muscle and reinforcing themselves. A cat’s purr emits low-frequency vibrations which can help a person nearby to heal. This is completely amazing, isn’t it!

A freelance designer/art director Gemma Busquets from Barcelona used her skills and created a fascinating infographic about cats’ purr. Busquets loves cats.

Gemma shared,

I’ve shared my life with a cat for 9 years. During research about cat facts I found out they create vibrations within a range known to be medically therapeutic and I thought I had to spread the word about such a cool thing. So I visualized the information in a format (an infographic) that I thought more people would get drawn to.
